U-20 AFCON: Benin Coach Calls Squirrels To Camp

 

Benin has submitted a list of 26 players to CAF for the final phase of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Egypt from February 19 to March 11, 2023. Coach Mathias Déguenon has called up Tamimou Ouorou, captain of the under-20 team. The midfielder of Smouha SC in the Egyptian first division, Dodo Dokou, is also on the list.

In training in Morocco since January 30, 2023, the Benin team will play a third friendly match this Wednesday, February 15 against the U20 selection of Congo.

Benin is drawn in pool C with Zambia, Tunisia and Gambia.
